Dear Garden Doctor,
My apple trees arrived today.
Would it be better to keep them in the living room with the onions, artichokes and asparagus, or in the kitchen with the potatoes and strawberries, or in the dining room with the raspberries and rhubarb? Or maybe in the utility room with the 84 lavender plants?

no seriously, the weather is atrocious here and there is no way I can get anything in the garden. Yes it’s colder up north, yes spring starts later, blah blah blah, but seriously, when will it end and when will the sun make an appearance. They had better weather in The Road!
