I went food shopping tonight and it was a bitch. My local supermarket (Tesco) has decided to “upgrade” the store to “give us what we want” however meanwhile and until June, nothing is in the right place. For example the cereals are now in the cheese fridges at the back of the shop! But this is a small issue compared to the larger issue of what exactly they are doing to the shop with the upgrade. What is it that they think we need?
Well as it turns out we apparently need a huge frozen food section! Whaaaa?
Let’s face it, apart from a small selection of frozen fruit and veg, the majority of any frozen food section is UNHEALTHY PROCESSED READY MEAL CRAP so well done Tesco in helping all your customers to get more obese by providing them with “what they want” which is apparently an entire aisle devoted to frozen pizzas in all flavours and sizes for example. WTF were you thinking?
Never mind, Sainsbury will soon be open nearby…
