oh something very exciting happened today – well exciting for me in a gardening way lol
For a few years I’ve had a, I think it’s called a lacewing (?) hydrangea that was a purple/blue colour when I bought it. It lived in a big pot when I was at the farm, and turned pink and stayed pink.
Last year I put it in the garden here, and forgot about it. This morning I happened to look out and it’s in full bloom and the flowers are purple again!!! Something was sitting in front of it so I didnt notice it was actually in flower, and all that rain must have helped.
I’m glad it’s back to the way it should be. I know the ph of the soil changes the colour, so I’m glad my soil here is good for it
It looks so pretty again
