We have been having some very windy weather and last night was really quite bad, heavy rain and very wild and windy. I have this japanese arch which I had resting up against a tree since last October while I waited for the weather to improve and for me to decide where to put it. Well last night it got smashed up by the wind. 
It has blown over before but it’s always been ok and landed on the soft grass but this time it has actually broken some of the wooden frame. It must have been very bad weather during the night. I almost cried when I saw it this morning. When the weather calms down a little I will see if I can fix it. 
I suppose I can screw and glue it back together but it won’t be the same, and the maddening thing is that it was safely on the grass and I put it back up thinking the windy weather was over.
