I have problems with decision making, well personal decision making.  Business and other people’s decisions I can make no problems but I am a bit indecisive about personal things.  Case in point, the bottom of the garden and the raised beds.  This is not all the fault of my lack of DM skills, it also has to do with losing my vision of what I wanted to achieve.  I was so stuck on how to get the best value from the raised bed kits ie the most growing space that I forgot about the whole feng shui/Japanese influence on the garden and whilst I was trying to create flow throughout the garden, it seemed to come to an abrupt halt when it came to this part of the garden.  There is no flow.  It’s all square and straight lines and no flow from other sections of the garden, so it had to be changed.  It was bothering me so much that I just had to lift it up and look at another way of doing it.  So now, instead of this:

slabs and raised bedswe now have this:

new bed layoutI can’t tell you how much better I feel looking at this now.  It just felt wrong before and I think I just lost my focus.  Now it feels right. There is now a possibility of a path through from the gravel parterre into the veg beds whereas before, you were blocked by the beds.  Of course if I could have realised this before I planted the raspberries all along the edges of the raised beds, that would have been a BIG help.  Since I didn’t, I then had to dig them up again and relocate them. *rolls eyes*
