Weather was good on Sunday but I didn’t get anything done as I had to visit the relos
Yesterday I did some digging and planted the asparagus and artichokes. Two down, many many many to go 
I have a big garden but I had a little panic yesterday feeling like there wasn’t enough room to plant everything I have. The raspberries are next and unfortunately they seem to need more space than I originally had allocated and a sunnier position so a rethink is necessary.
Bamboo still looks dead, as does my mexican orange blossom which I’ve had for years with no problems but this winter has really been hard on things. Clematis too is like a dead dry stick in a pot. Rhubarb crowns look like rotted matter and not firm crowns so I don’t know if they’re going to be any good, and half the strawberry plants look the same. I keep thinking of all the money I spent on these things and how it’s all been for nothing. Can’t afford to buy them twice either! *shakes fist at weather*
