Peeking over my neighbour’s fence gave me potato envy last night
Sure I have potatoes too but not as many as this and mine were planted a couple of weeks later, therefore I have potato envy.
However, I planted more seeds last night just to take my mind off it. Two types of carrot – nantes and chantenay – and in the garden I planted more borlotti bean and soya bean seedlings, up against the bamboo poles I put in the night before. I also cut the hedge which was getting out of control – I now have a new problem, one I didn’t have last year. Now that I have flower beds next to the hedge it’s a little tricky accessing the hedge without tramping on the seedlings and of course now I actually have to pick up the hedge clippings *sigh*
