I’ve been thinking about making a malt loaf – the brand here is Soreen – I love those but I’ve never tried making one. Anyway on my hunt for a suitable recipe I came across this one for a Tamarind Date Cake with Cardamom Icing

It looks really good, so I’m going to attempt to make a vegan version of it today!
I took a picture of the tamarind date cake when it came out the oven
but forgot to take one of it after it was iced and there’s not much left now
These were the carrot cupcakes I made last week
I’m really impressed considering they’re vegan and have no dairy in them at all! I wasn’t sure they would even work
