Looked out the bedroom window this morning after a very stormy night last night and saw the roof of the greenhouse sticking out beyond the shed – oh yeah and it was at ground level! I went out to see what had happened and basically it’s trashed. I can’t understand what exactly happened but it looks like it’s been picked up and thrown to the ground. Everything that was inside the greenhouse – staging etc – is on top of it, trays and plant pots full of dirt have been dumped on top of it and the whole thing is ruined. I tried putting it upright again and weighting it down with concrete slabs etc. It has also brought down part of the fence.
Meanwhile in other parts of the country…

I had to put the rubbish bin out today as it was full. There were several bags to go in it and one of them was full of clumping litter and weighed a ton! Not literally but it was seriously heavy. I think it also had got wet so it was even heavier due to soaking up all that rain. It was so hard to get it into the bin I had to get right underneath it and push, consequently everything I was wearing got wet and gross and I got really wheezy and short of breath. I’ve been trying to breathe normally without the inhaler but it took over an hour to get back to normal. I got soaked and blown about trying to get it out but at least it’s gone. Really on a day like today it’s hard to stay committed to a raw diet, I really wanted to have a cup of regular tea and some toast or something equally warm and comforting but I am resisting.
Watched Episode 6 of The Food Hospital. but it was a pretty average episode on the whole. Battening down the hatches for another stormy night!
