Day 13 raw, Day 5 of P90X
I have to admit when I got up this morning I really didn’t want to put on the DVD and then when I did and checked that there was indeed another Ab workout at the end of it I REALLY didn’t want to do it. I kept saying to myself that I could skip a day and it wouldn’t be a big deal but then I talked myself round and got started. Today was Legs and Back, I don’t know what I was expecting but it wasn’t 300+ squats in a variety of positions I kept going and did as much as I could but it wasn’t 300 ha! and some of my breaks were longer than theirs. The back exercises were all pullups and chinups using a bar and I don’t have a bar but I wouldn’t be able to do them anyway as I never have. So I do a variation using weights. All the way through I was telling myself I didn’t have to do the Abripper X workout at the end, but then when it started and it’s only 15 mins (15 mins of pain mind you) well I kept going and did what I could. There are a few of these exercises that I just can’t do either but I do my best. You aren’t supposed to be perfect at this point.
Tasty banana protein “recovery” smoothie afterwards. Really sets you up for the day. I don’t feel too sore and I have lots of energy.
As for the raw aspect of the day, I have no problems with this, it’s not my first time being 100% and I actually find it quite easy – even in the cold weather like today. I guess I’m “in the zone”.
