Today I got out of bed with no problems (again) – every day I’m expecting to be so stiff I stand up and topple over but so far so good. I wanted to juice straight away but decided to do the workout first as that would be better in the long run. Today was Shoulders & Arms and I actually quite enjoyed this one and there were some fun moves. What I really don’t enjoy is the sneaky little 15 min AbripperX workout that appears at the end of this DVD – the same thing happened on Day 1 at the end of the chest/back workout and I nearly cried. I was almost ready to switch it off when it popped up. I can’t do all the exercises in the abripperX as I just don’t have the stomach muscles/core strength to cope with it at the moment but one day…. Meanwhile I do what I can. Made my recovery drink straight afterwards with fresh squeezed apple juice and soy powder – again the powder makes it grainy so I will have to change to something else but I couldn’t be bothered thinking about it this morning.
In other eating news, I’ve had two russet apples today. Man, I will be sad when they go out of season. I just can’t get enough of them right now. Those and comice pears and I’m not usually that interested in eating pears, but these are huge and delicious. If I’m not eating those, I’m eating avocados (of course!), asparagus and watercress. My main juicing vegetables are celery, cucumber, kale, carrots, with some apples, ginger, lemon thrown in.
